MEI Receives Positive Rating from Gartner

Signs More Clients than Closest Three Competitors Combined

 

PITTSBURGH, PA (March 31, 2011)MEI, the global leader in trade promotion management (TPM) software today announces it has received a "Positive" rating in Gartner's "MarketScope for Sales Force Automation in the Consumer Goods Industry" report [i]. MEI was evaluated based on its geographic strategy, market responsiveness and track record, market understanding, offering strategy, product and service, overall viability and industry strategy.

In the report, Dale Hagemeyer, managing VP of manufacturing for life sciences and consumer goods at Gartner Inc., considers MEI a leader in the SaaS-specific Trade Promotion Management market because MEI performs "consistently with client acquisition and retention, client service, and technology improvements." Hagemeyer also said, "By our count, MEI did more new-client TPM deals in 2010 than its next closest three rivals combined. We attribute this to its growing reputation, ongoing client service, and use of existing clients as spokespeople/references."
