MEI Adds Depth to Leadership Team with New Executive Appointment
MORRISTOWN, NJ, June 23, 2009 –MEI Computer Technology Group, Inc., a leading developer of trade promotion management and retail execution solutions for the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, announced today the appointment of Shawn Leonard as the Company’s new EVP of Product Development. In this role, he will be responsible for all product development initiatives including leading all current product releases and creating product road maps for future releases and enhancements. Mr. Leonard will join the executive management team and will report directly to MEI’s Chief Executive Officer, Lorne Schwartz.
Mr. Leonard has held various executive positions in the software technology industry, including product development, software development and technical services. Most recently, and prior to his new position, Leonard was partner and Vice President of Service at InCycle Software where he helped many Fortune 500 companies shape their development teams into best-of-breed software organizations. Previously, Leonard served as Vice President of Product Development at ImageTag, a software company that developed and marketed a suite of integrated imaging solutions. Throughout his fourteen year career, Mr. Leonard has been responsible for the creation of several world-class product and development groups based on both the RUP and Scrum development processes.
