PITTSBURGH, PA (February 10, 2012)MEI, the global provider and thought leader in Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solutions, is amped to officially announce the schedule of events and full agenda lineup for its 2012 User Conference: TPM that Rocks.

Taking place at the Wyndham Hotel May 14-16 in Cleveland, Ohio, the User Conference will offer more than 20 educational sessions and industry presentations on three different tracks to provide all 70+ MEI clients, prospects and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies the ultimate backstage pass to become a TPM rockstar. The comprehensive agenda affords attendees to mix and match sessions, customizing each day to meet individual trade promotion needs.

The headline attraction of the agenda includes Keynote Presentations featuring The Supermarket Guru® Phil Lempert  and entertainment industry veteran Robin Creasman.  Presentations by the highly-regarded thought leaders at ArchPoint Consulting, TABS Group, Inc. and Booz & Company will also take center stage during TPM that Rocks.

In the spirit of collaboration and idea sharing, Ken Messick, Senior Vice President of Sales at Smart Balance, will outline how the company made informed business decisions using P&L mix management to maximize trade efficiency and drive revenue and profitability.  Additional testimonials by Hearthside Food Solutions and a case study outlining how an organizational alignment has enabled Burt’s Bees to tap into the full power of its TPM tool will also be among the event’s highlights.

The Conference will cover industry-leading best practices surrounding Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO) and offer a sneak peek at TradeOptimizer, MEI’s forthcoming TPO tool to help manufacturers make fact-based trade spend decisions.  The MEI team will also outline roadmaps and initiatives for its current products as well as demonstrate how manufacturers can enhance reporting, sales planning and accruing spending.
